Cyldon 13/3

This is another one of Sydney S Bird & Sons fine little engines, a Cyldon 13/3. There is nothing
better with old steam engines than knowing a bit of their history and thanks to Mr Trevor Rumsey
who sold this to me we do. Bought by Trevor in 1950 with money he had for his eighth birthday it
cost, at the time, £1 2s 6d or £1.12 in our money. The pictures were taken straight out of the box.
A great find as it's in pristine original condition. Trevor has kindly provided a little more information
about the Cyldon, it was purchased from, The Toy Department, W.S. Cowell Ltd (Printers)
